Karl Stahlfeld Returns to the Bears Roster
Seattle Native Lefty Returns to Highline
The Highline Bears are happy to announce the return of left handed pitcher Karl Stahlfeld. Stahlfeld was a key piece to the Bears bullpen last summer and looks to fill that role again in 2018. Stahlfeld plays on the University of Alabama's club team, one of the most competitive club teams in the country. Stahlfeld attempted to walk onto Bama's baseball team last fall and made it down to the last and final cut. He was the last guy on the edge before being let go and returning to the club team. Quite an accomplishment for an athlete to make trying to walk onto an SEC division one program. Stahlfeld threw twenty innings for the Bears last summer averaging one strikeout per inning with an era of 3.46.
