Bears Sign Hard Hitting Catcher
Whitworth University sophomore Cody Simmons will join the 2018 Bears roster. The catcher hailing from Wenatchee appeared in 26 games in the 2017-2018 season, tallying 20 hits for six runs and 12 RBI’s, including one home run. Simmons will bring collegiate experience to the Bears this summer, having played in a total of 50 games at Whitworth since 2016.
